Backpack, the crypto exchange founded by former FTX and Alameda Research employees, has appointed Oliver Sleafer as its Chief Financial Officer. Sleafer brings extensive experience from his previous roles as Head of Liquidity Management in the Asia-Pacific region at both Stripe and Credit Suisse. He joined Backpack in October as Head of Treasury and now steps into the CFO role as the company continues its growth trajectory. Backpack recently secured $17 million in Series A funding, achieving a $120 million valuation. The appointment of Sleafer underscores Backpack's commitment to strengthening its financial operations and expanding its presence in the crypto exchange market.
