The overseas cryptocurrency (virtual currency) exchange "Backpack" has joined the Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association (JVCEA) as a Type 2 member, the JVCEA announced. JVCEA is an organization that is responsible for self-regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges and cryptocurrency-related derivatives trading businesses as a certified fund settlement business association under the Payment Services Act and a certified financial instruments business association under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
