Backpack Exchange kicks off the first round of PnL Royale as Week 5 of Season 4 begins. The PnL Royale rewards the top 50 traders based on realized profit and loss, with a total prize pool of $100,000 in cash.

Week 5 runs from December 18, 12:00am UTC to December 24, 12:00am UTC. Opt in, trade perpetuals, and climb the leaderboard to claim your share.

How It Works

1. Opt in
Use the opt-in button on the campaign page. If the desktop and mobile app show different statuses, one opt-in on any platform is sufficient.

2. Post your PnL card
Share your PnL card on X or Twitter and tag @backpack at least once during the campaign.

3. Hit volume
Trade at least $1,000,000 in perpetual trading volume during the campaign.

4. Trade manually
Manual traders only. If you trade via API at any time during the campaign period, you will be excluded from the final rewards calculation.

Payouts are based on realized PnL ranking. $100,000 total prize pool distributed across 50 winners:

Getting Started

1. Open your Backpack account on web or mobile.
2. Go to the PnL Royale campaign page.
3. Click the opt-in button to enter the competition.
4. Deposit funds into your account using USDC or other supported assets before you start trading.
5. Trade perpetuals and track your position on the leaderboard.
6. Share your PnL card on X/Twitter before the campaign ends.
   

Rules

• Participants must opt in to the campaign before trading to be eligible for rewards.
  
• A minimum cumulative perpetual trading volume of $1,000,000 is required during the campaign period.
  
• Only realized PnL generated from perpetual trading is used for ranking calculations. Unrealized PnL is not included.
  
• Manual trading only. Any participant who executes trades via API at any time during the campaign period will be excluded from the final rewards calculation, regardless of trading volume or PnL.
  
• All trading volume and PnL are calculated in USD equivalent across all supported assets.
  
• If two or more participants have the same realized PnL, rankings will be recalculated based on cumulative perpetual trading volume during the campaign period. Higher trading volume ranks higher.
  
• Abusive, manipulative, or fraudulent behavior will result in disqualification.
