How to Participate

• Opt in on the Deposit and Earn quest page by November 8. Eligible deposits made before you opt in still count.
• Deposit by November 8, 11:59 PM UTC. USD bank deposits and crypto transferred from outside Backpack between November 2 and November 8 count toward rewards.
• Keep your funds on Backpack until November 22, 11:59 PM UTC. You can continue trading, but withdrawals and transfers to other users reduce your qualifying amount.

How Boxes Work

• Your reward level depends on your qualifying net deposits: eligible external deposits made from November 2 to 8, minus withdrawals and transfers to other users from November 2 through November 22.
• Trading gains and losses do not affect your net deposit amount.
• Crypto is valued at November 8 reference prices, so later price movements will not change your qualifying amount.
• Only your highest qualifying level applies, up to 12 boxes per user.
• Every box holds one real US stock. Deposit Mystery Boxes have different reward values and probabilities from trading Mystery Boxes.
• Participants who are ineligible to receive stocks due to jurisdictional restrictions will automatically receive the equivalent reward value in USD.

Earn USD Yield

Earn 3.64% APY on USD while using it as collateral for trading. The rate is available to eligible users who enable lending and is variable, not guaranteed. Lending involves risk. Participation in lending is not required to qualify for Mystery Boxes.

Terms and Conditions

• Opt-in via the quest page by November 8, 2026 is required to be eligible. Eligible deposits made before opting in still count.
• The deposit window runs from November 2, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC to November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC. The holding period ends November 22, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC.
• Eligible deposits are USD bank deposits and crypto transferred from outside Backpack during the deposit window. 
• Qualifying net deposits are eligible deposits minus withdrawals and transfers to other users from November 2 through November 22, 11:59 PM UTC. Trading gains and losses are not included. Crypto is valued at November 8 reference prices.
• Only the highest qualifying level applies, up to a maximum of 12 boxes per participant.
• Deposit Mystery Boxes have different reward values and probabilities from trading Mystery Boxes.
• Participants must have completed identity verification. One participation per person.
• Not available to users in the US, UK or EU, or to market makers.
• The 3.64% APY on USD is available to eligible users who enable lending, is variable and not guaranteed. Lending is optional and not required to qualify for Mystery Boxes.
• Boxes are distributed to Rewards around November 23, 2026, after eligibility checks.
• If a participant cannot receive US stocks in their jurisdiction, the reward will be automatically substituted with the equivalent value in USD.
• Backpack reserves the right to withhold rewards from or disqualify any participant who engages in abusive or manipulative activity, including multi-account abuse.
